This infographic shows how stock photos portray emotions in a gendered way. To illustrate this, I took a look at the search results of a major stock photo provider. I selected the first 100 photos for seven different of emotions. All the 700 photos are depicted in the infographic, albeit in abstract form, to avoid copyright issues. The images stand for themselves, but they can also be read as bar charts.
