The aim of this poster is to get people to think about the direct democratic system in Switzerland, especially who is allowed to participate and the extent to which this right is seized.
The data covers 27 elections and 100 years. The visualizations are not designed to convey the data in the most direct way but to draw the viewers into this little universe of information and let them explore the developements themselves.
